You Made a Way
On December 17, 2016 God made a way...
You made a way
When my back was against the wall
And it looked as if it was over
You made a way
And I'm standing here
Only because you made a way
You made a way
Don't know how but you did it
Don't know why but I'm grateful
Don't know how but I'm grateful
This journey has not been easy but I'm thankful that God made a way, when I was down to my last penny and I didn't understand because I had worked so hard all my life to excel at everything I touched, school, jobs, organizations, etc...I knew only he could make a way and one day he told me Charnell get back into school, I have another assignment for your life. When I struggled to do homework and papers every night and couldn't see the light at the end of the tunnel, he said keep going. When I made some bad grades, he said I will not give up on you so keep going. When I almost lost my mom and wanted to drop out, the certification I had been looking to receive for a little over a month, came in the mail, and God said keep going. When 2 of my loved ones passed away and I felt like my world had stopped, he said keep going. When I literally lost everything 2 days before graduation like the fact that I would even be graduating, the pride I had in myself instantly turned into doubt and I hit rock bottom. In my eyes it was over. I didn't know or understand how I ended up in the situation I was in and almost became hopeless. I didn't eat or sleep and didn't want to face the music. When I thought that everything I had worked two and a half years for was going to be taken away from me two days before graduation, my degree, my integrity, my hope, he stepped in and said trust me my child I haven't brought you this far for you to fail! He stepped in the day before and he made a way! I was the first one to walk to get my degree when I didn't even think I would be receiving it (my friends who came to support don't even know this, all I could think of was how I would tell my friends and family if I wasn't allowed to graduate). Only GOD can do something this powerful! This degree was a special miracle blessing delivered to me by God. If you find yourself in a situation, in a place of hopelessness, remember how God got you through your last place of hopelessness.
God bless each of you! Thank you for all my birthday wishes and congratulations on my Masters Degree that God delivered to me to remind me of his precious miracle working abilities. What an amazing Christmas and Birthday present and an amazing friend we have in Jesus!

This is where I share moments of accomplishment. No matter if I win or lose, the victory is in me actually getting up and trying and then dusting myself off to go back out in the world and try again.
